eCruisers began in the summer of 2006, giving free test rides from the bay side properties in Ocean City, MD over to the beach and back. eCruisers quickly became the favorite mode of transportation among beach vacationers! They provided a chance for people to move freely back and forth to the beach without all of the hassle of carrying beach gear plus no driving or trying to find a parking space!

eCruisers tried their luck at making a business out of their trial success, by advertising other businesses and real estate on the sides of their eCruiser cars. Unfortunately, due to legislative disapproval, changes had to be made within advertising, which made profiting difficult in a falling economy. At the end of the summer season, eCruisers realized that there were better cities which would be more well equipped and open to the business model, so they moved on to Annapolis, MD and the annual Boat Show.

Again, eCruisers provided FREE RIDES during the 2007 Boat Show and as a result several independent real estate agents that were looking for exposure in a falling market, quickly recognized the value in this innovative company. Once one of them hired eCruisers, their competitors were soon to follow. This town “got it”!

Two years later, eCruisers is reorganized and owns a brand new fleet of 10 100% Electric GEM Cars, which represent the largest fleet of 100% electric cars ever delivered to a State Capitol City of any State in the Country. They are now in their second + year of working all of the Naval Academy Football games & Graduation Ceremonies and were completely sold out for the entirety of the 2009 Boat Show!
