Gensler Facility Tour
The most recent B2B Green Lunch Series at Gensler event was another great success!
The event began with a tour of the premises showcasing how the Gensler office combines technology and culture to bring a new look to LEED certified building. Each office, public space, and conference room is artistically designed to provide a sustainable, functional, and unique look throughout the entire building.

Jim Camp's Presentation
From the main entranceway, which includes a striking wall made of repurposed steel panels comprised of locally manufactured bicycle chains and cogs, to the beautiful views of the Baltimore Inner Harbor, Gensler employees are always sure to have a great view.
After the tour, participants enjoyed lunch provided by The Dogwood, an organic restaurant specializing in locally grown cuisine. Lunch included a variety of healthy salads and hearty sandwiches, all of which tasted as good as they looked!

Dogwood Catering
During lunch, Jim Camp of Gensler and Will Phillips of Under Armour, led a discussion entitled “Knowing Your Client & Their Drivers”. The presentation was captivating and enlightening as they discussed how cost, the culture, the market and the built environment drive organizational decisions and choices around sustainability. They explained how and why certain companies choose sustainable practices and gave a few case studies, including a case study of Under Armour. Once again, it was a luncheon not to be missed!
Thank you so much to our speakers, hosts, and sponsors from Gensler and The Dogwood.
