Davis Bookhart was hired in 2006 to create and direct the Sustainability Initiative at Johns Hopkins University. Bookhart's charge is to develop and facilitate projects that reduce the negative environmental impacts of the University; integrate students and faculty into each project to the greatest extent possible; and promote sustainability through collaboration between divisions and involvement in the larger Baltimore community. Bookhart is also chair of the Johns Hopkins Sustainability Committee, a 16-member group convened by President William R. Brody to boost the university's environmental profile.
John Byrne is Director of the Center for Energy and Environmental Policy (CEEP) and Distinguished Professor of Energy and Climate Policy at the University of Delaware. He has contributed to many groups, including Working Group III of the United Nations-sponsored Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) since 1992 and shares the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. Dr. Byrne is also editor of the annual book series Energy and Environmental Policy, published by Transaction Books.
At Constellation Energy Group, Ken served as senior vice president and general manager of the company's retail electric business for the PJM (PA, NJ & MD) electric grid area, growing that regions bottom line to over $750 M in electricity sales. In this role he developed and led the company's operational and business development efforts in helping small, medium and large industrial customers deal with managing rapidly changing energy requirements.
From 2008, Ken served as senior vice president of Constellation Energy Projects & Services (CEPS). In this role he developed and led the company's renewable and green energy business efforts with a focus on developing wind, solar and energy efficiency projects for customers. CEPS developed such high profile solar projects as McCormick Spice, ALCO and the state of Maryland.

Lisa Ferretto is an architect, designer, sustainability coordinator and activist. For the past fourteen years, she has been actively involved in environmental design through her profession, education, and by volunteering. She received a BS in Architecture from the University of Maryland in 1996 and then worked in the DC Metro area. In 1999, she moved to Portland, Oregon, a leading city in the environmental movement, to pursue her Masters in Architecture and her passion for sustainability. After six years on the west coast, Ms. Ferretto decided to return to her hometown of Baltimore, to address both environmental and social equity issues.
Bill Griffith is the President of Reduction in Motion, Inc. Since 1987, he has held positions at Clean Harbors Environmental Services, San-i-Pak, and Occupational Safety Specialists, Inc. as an emergency response technician, facility planner, and environmental compliance strategist.
Stuart Kaplow is an attorney and the principal at the real estate boutique, Stuart D. Kaplow, P.A. He represents a broad breadth of business interests in a varied real estate practice, concentrating in land use and environmental law with focused experience in Green building and sustainable business.
He serves as vice chair of the board and counsel for the U.S. Green Building Council Maryland.
In an effort to gain perspective in matters of sustainable use of land and, admittedly to recreate, Kaplow has trekked to some of the wildest real estate on the planet from Kilimanjaro to Everest, with many summits and mountaineering adventures in between.

Jim Maguire graduated from Illinois State University with degrees in Computer Science and Economics. His first career began at the US Defense Department, both near Washington and overseas. His last consulting assignment was in Germany, where he saw how well Europeans were embracing renewable energy. Jim came home to the US, started a family, and founded WindCurrent in 2002. Richard (Dick) Vodra, JD, CFP, has been a financial planning practitioner in Northern Virginia since 1985. He is a graduate of the College of Wooster and the Yale Law School. He is an active member of the Financial Planning Association. He has been following the Peak Oil and Global Climate Change issues carefully since 2002, and has been an ASPO member since 2006.
Sarah Zaleski received a BS in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University and a Masters of Environmental Management and a Masters of Public Policy from Duke University where her research focused on developing a labor/environmental alliance to support clean energy policies. Ms. Zaleski has worked on sustainability, energy, and climate policy at all jurisdictional levels, internationally, and in the private sector as well. In her current role with the City of Baltimore, Ms. Zaleski manages a range of projects including the Baltimore Sustainability Plan, the city's greenhouse gas emissions inventory, and the city's Climate Action Plan.
Ms. Armstrong is the Pollution Prevention Coordinator for the Maryland Department of the Environment. She directs services that help businesses adopt a proactive approach to environmental management. As a marketer and business-owner with a foundation in design from Maryland Institute College of Art, E. Rachael Baird believes true change for the planet can begin with visuals and action. Karen Healey is a Director of Product Management for PHH Arval. She is responsible for managing PHH's risk, safety and environmental products. As the leader of PHH's environmental initiatives, she has partnered with the Environmental Defense to develop the PHH GreenFleet program. This program is the first fleet management program focused on cost-effectively reducing greenhouse gas emissions from vehicle fleets.
