Liz Longenecker brings over fifteen years of experience in environmental management, project development, event coordination, and pollution prevention implementation to the Terrachord team.
Liz's most recent experience is serving as President and Pollution Prevention Specialist of Ecco Verde, Inc. In this capacity, Ms. Longenecker managed a range of environmental consulting projects from environmental program management support to pollution prevention training and on-site technical assistance. Her clients included Aberdeen Proving Ground, the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay, the State of Delaware, the National Pollution Prevention Roundtable, and the Toxics Use Reduction Institute.
Prior to founding Ecco Verde, Ms. Longenecker served as the Pollution Prevention Coordinator for the Maryland Department of the Environment, as Budget Examiner for the State of New York Division of the Budget, managing the budgets of several environmental regulatory and recreational state agencies, and as a Lobbyist Assistant for the Union of Concerned Scientists, a non-profit, environmental think-tank located in Washington, D.C. and Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Ms. Longenecker holds a Master of Science in Urban and Environmental Studies from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Economics from American University.
