Lisa Ferretto is an architect, designer, sustainability coordinator and activist. For the past fourteen years, she has been actively involved in environmental design through her profession, education, and by volunteering. She received a BS in Architecture from the University of Maryland in 1996 and then worked in the DC Metro area. In 1999, she moved to Portland, Oregon, a leading city in the environmental movement, to pursue her Masters in Architecture and her passion for sustainability. After six years on the west coast, Ms. Ferretto decided to return to her hometown of Baltimore, to address both environmental and social equity issues.
